Quality, safety and the environment, daily challenges for each of our laboratory’s collaborators
The laboratory is engaged in a process of continuous improvement of the quality of service provided to its customers.
Our accreditations and approvals
Drôme Laboratoire has been accredited by COFRAC since March 1998 – Accreditation no. 1-8052, scope available on www.cofrac.fr. The general requirements concerning the competence of the laboratories according to the NF EN ISO IEC 17025 v2005 standard are respected and are at the center of the laboratory’s concerns. Control of continuous processes, optimization of resources, empowerment of the actors … to guarantee the results to the customers, from the support of their samples until the test report. The Laboratory is accredited by the Ministries of Health, Environment and Agriculture. As proof of reliability, impartiality and confidentiality, these accreditations and approvals show the commitment of the laboratory in its Quality approach.
A high level of requirement
In order to ensure a quality service, a high level of expertise and reliability on a daily basis, we impose ourselves a high level of demand. Our quality policy is developed around different axes: continuous improvement, control and metrological monitoring of field and laboratory equipment, verification of the absence of contamination of equipment and bottles, application of AFNOR, ISO, NF or EN standards. validation of the methods of analysis and estimation of measurement uncertainties, participation in Inter-Laboratory Tests (ILT) attesting the competence of the laboratory to carry out tests with specified means, management of computer data (traceability, confidentiality). To achieve these goals, we provide ongoing training for our technicians.
An environmental commitment
In January 2013, the departmental assembly of the Drôme reaffirmed its commitment to sustainable development and acknowledged the continuation of its commitment since 2005. We take into account on a daily basis the environmental considerations for carrying out the analyzes and this to several levels:
- In waste management: we have put in place procedures for the collection and recycling of waste, including reagents, solvents and other chemical and biological laboratory products.
- In modifying processes to reduce the impact of solvents: we favor environmentally friendly analysis methods. Indeed, the processes are modified regularly so as to use fewer and fewer solvents.
